You both are stars in my book.<\/p>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><a style=\"color: #ff0000;\" href=\"https:\/\/donorbox.org\/tickets-preliminary-round-1-2-2-2-2-2-2?fbclid=IwAR2iYvL09CvQP-lApmLGuMAotzwUMEPNuW1Y9T5K21dOfzzXBVXwOJqvJME\"><strong>Buy Tickets To The Finals For So You Think You Can Rise\u00a0<\/strong><\/a><\/span><\/h3>\n<h3>Vax Passes Remain, for now in Puerto Vallarta and in Jalisco<\/h3>\n<p>From Banderas News\u2026dated February 13<sup>th<\/sup>..<\/p>\n<p><em>Vaccination Certificates are Still Mandatory in Jalisco<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>On February 14, the Jalisco Board of Health established that the need to present a Covid Vaccine certificate (or negative PCR test) to enter bars, clubs, casinos and other entertainment venues will remain in effect until (at least) March 15, 2022.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>Puerto Vallarta, Jalisco, Mexico \u2013 After Governor Enrique Alfaro Ram\u00edrez announced that \u201cThe same measures that are in force today, will continue in the coming weeks\u201d last Thursday, state authorities on Saturday confirmed that vaccination certificates will still be required to enter bars, clubs, and other leisure establishments, despite the fact that the deadline was set to expire on February 12, 2022.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>It was last January 14 when it became mandatory to present said certificate to enter clubs, bars, cabarets, billiard halls and nightclubs, however, the date on which that rule would lose validity was Saturday, February 12, according to what was published in the Official State Newspaper.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>But in the current report, it highlights that the certificate, or the negative PCR test, will continue to be necessary to enter these businesses, although it was not specified until what date the establishments must request the documents.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>New containment strategies were also announced, in which municipal governments will have to establish their own mechanisms to prevent Covid-19 contagion and will no longer be governed by state orders.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em><a href=\"https:\/\/banderasnews.com\/vaccination-certificates-continue-to-be-mandatory-in-jalisco\/\">https:\/\/banderasnews.com\/vaccination-certificates-continue-to-be-mandatory-in-jalisco\/<\/a><\/em><\/p>\n<h3>New Rules Concerning Covid Testing for Canadians<\/h3>\n<p>From CBC News Business\u2026dated February 15<sup>th<\/sup>\u2026<\/p>\n<p><em>Ottawa dropping pre-arrival PCR test for travellers as of Feb. 28<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>Travellers entering Canada will no longer have to take a pre-arrival molecular test \u2014 such as a PCR \u2014 as of Feb. 28, Health Minister Jean-Yves Duclos announced Tuesday.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>Travellers will still be required to take a pre-arrival test, but they can instead opt for an authorized rapid antigen test taken no more than one day before their scheduled flight or arrival at the land border.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>Molecular tests will still be accepted, but antigen tests are typically cheaper and can provide results within minutes.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>Also starting Feb. 28, unvaccinated children under the age of 12 entering Canada with fully vaccinated parents will no longer have to avoid schools, daycare or other crowded settings for 14 days, said Duclos.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>Currently, travellers entering Canada must show proof of a negative molecular test taken within 72 hours of their departing flight or planned arrival at the land border.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>Fully vaccinated travellers may also be randomly selected for a PCR test upon arrival. Duclos said its arrival testing program will remain in effect, but, as of Feb. 28, those selected for testing will no longer have to quarantine while waiting for their results.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>Ottawa will reassess travel measures<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>The government also announced plans to lift its current advisory against non-essential travel abroad.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>Duclos said the government is making the changes because of improving pandemic conditions.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>&#8220;We have passed the peak of the latest wave driven by the Omicron variant,&#8221; he said.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>&#8220;In addition, after two years of following individual public health measures, such as getting vaccinated, wearing masks, keeping our distance and staying at home if sick, Canadians know what to do to keep themselves and each other safe.&#8221;<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>The travel itch is boosting vacation bookings, but COVID testing remains key hurdle<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>Duclos added that travel measures could change depending on the direction of the pandemic.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>If conditions continue to improve, he said, further testing measures could be dropped, such as the testing requirement for Canadians visiting the United States for short trips under 72 hours.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>The government made no mention of dropping its rule that air passengers who test positive while abroad must wait at least 10 full days before entering Canada.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>&#8220;I want to underscore that Canadians should still exercise caution when traveling abroad,&#8221; said Duclos. &#8220;There is still the real risk of becoming sick or stranded.&#8221;<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>Travel rules face criticism<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>Over the past several months, members of the travel industry and some physicians have lobbied the government to nix all testing requirements for fully vaccinated travellers.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>People must pay for their pre-arrival molecular test, which can cost hundreds of dollars. But they agreed to talk with me as long as we didn\u2019t discuss that. At least until they were sure the landlord had found someone who would pay more than they could afford\u2026lets put it that way. And sure enough, it came to pass.
